Details: The Diving Duckling Holiday Cottage is based in the grounds of a large 19th Century house, located in a beautiful part of the North York Moors, and offers comfortable self catering accommodation.

The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Commondale, in the North York Moors about 17 miles West of the popular and bustling coastal town of Whitby. The location offers gentle or challenging walks, museums, delightful villages and easy access to Heartbeat and Herriot Country. The famous Esk Valley steam railway is close by and links with the North York Moors steam Railway at Grosmont.

Accommodation
The cottage offers compact but extremely comfortable open plan self catering accommodation for up to 4 persons, which combines the convenience of the latest modern day living with the character of the original building.

Under floor heating ensures a pleasant atmosphere throughout whatever the weather, and log burner in the corner is available for the coldest of nights. The lounge and dining areas are slate tiled throughout which makes for a hard wearing surface which will not mark with wheelchairs or muddy dogs. The luxurious fully tiled shower room has a spacious level access shower with unlimited hot water.

The dining area has comfortable seating and the kitchen includes an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge freezer & dishwasher. The washer dryer is situated in an adjacent building. French doors lead onto a south facing well equipped patio (including a BBQ) overlooking the river, and steps lead down to a small garden with a secure lawn.
